Guard your Dreams

Through sad experience I have come to discover a terrible thing that threatens my business and yours. This thing is so devastating to any business that it can kill it within minutes. What is it....It is something that I have heard been called by many different names but I call it Dream Killers. This evil usually comes in the form of a loving family member; very good friend; a father; a mother or a sibling. They seem to think that they are protecting you. Unfortunately they don't have the same vision as you do. They cannot and will not dream the same dream as you do.

So how do we overcome this thing that threatens to destroy the passion that pumps through our veins. Well, the only solution that I have is to be even more stubborn, ignore the static that resonates from their lips and go back to work. I tell myself that the passion within me needs to be so strong that it will drown out the negative elements that threaten to engulf me.

So my advise to anybody that has Prophets of doom singing their song of destruction regarding your efforts to build a passive income.
1. Don't pay attention. If you do it WILL be the doom of your business. If you can, you need to distance yourself from these negative influences.
2. Read as many good books as you can. I gain fuel for my passion by reading motivational books; stories about people that have overcome great odds; and of course the Scriptures.
3. Cut out TV. There is nothing good to be gained from staring at that thing.
4. Take time to meditate.
5. Mix with people that have a similar vision as you do.

These are just a few ideas. If you have more I'd love to hear them. I do think however that the best advise for anybody is this..KEEP ON DREAMING BIG!
